This scan is all messed up. I'll have to take a photo of it..
Copy paper and mechanical pencil BOO YAH. Drawn at work, heh heh heh.

My dad's birthday present. A picture of him meeting his grandson (my new nephew) for the first time :)
Family is weird. I don't really get along so great with my dad, we typically just stay out of each others way as much as possible. There's the occasional overture on both sides that just tend to end up stiff and awkward with both of us really really wanting the other to have some excuse to leave early.

Old heartache is the elephant in the room, along with my nuclear relationship with my mother.

But i still love him.

I know this will make him happy, so i'm happy to give it to him.

Maybe this will be the step that makes our relationship better. For a while.

Oh yeah... ears suck.

that's sweet, i am sure yr dad will love it :) ...just don't run away when he'll try to hug u lol (coz i am sure he will)
..and i like how u did the shading and everything ..u really have nervs for details ..and yea ears suck for drawing but u did a good job there! :)

:hug: Thank you. I think it needs a bit more work yet. I see more spots now, especially around the ear that could be darker and fuller...
