I don't know what it is with me, ink and people watching.. I tried to make the cafe seem very ramshackle while the woman held an elegant, almost aristocratic demeanor, aloof from her surroundings. Did it work?

I've used blue watercolour in a a similar matter, but never actually splurged for coloured inks. I think I might though. I've been in an inky mood for ages now.
I do get a sense of a class system, she is for sure looking down on the viewer. I'd sit and talk to her out of curiosity but chances are she wouldn't tolerate me. I Like all the horizontall lines in the background, the perspective and the eyes, works for me , excellent work.
She is a post modern beatnik. She drinks her coffee here because she left her parents and their money back on the east coast. She wants to carve out her own lot in life but has only just started.
